Philips Series 5000 Hair Clipper HC5450/83 with DualCut Technology

Phillips is a very well known brand that produces a massive range of electrical products. They are maybe not as well known for making clippers but they do quite a good short range. They are definitely a quality manufacturer and this series 5000 is probably their best selling clipper. At around £49 and averaging 4.1 out of 5 in the ratings , it is a fantastic clipper kit and definitely one of the best in its class.

This clipper is both a corded and a cordless model that has a dual cutting system for twice the speed of trimming. It also has a boost feature that lets you cut even quicker again. This also makes the cut very smooth.

It also comes as a complete kit and is powerful enough the cut the longest or the thickest hair without pulling. I happen to think that its one of the meanest and best looking clippers that I have reviewed to date and the Titanium blades just add to that look.

This clipper has a reasonably good rating for the money of 4.1 out of 5. Its a traditional clipper that's very powerful and can do a really quick cut. 

As you know the blades on clippers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this Series clipper comes with self sharpening Titanium blades which are top quality

This is a very big selling clipper and we see lots of 5 star reviews. Buyers find them to be very powerful and extremely quick. Its extremely handy not to have to store and keep having to change between different combs. The adjustable length feature is really good and it saves a lot of fiddling around.

With over 6 out of 10 users rating this clipper 5 out of 5 and only 1 in 10 users rating it quite low, we can be sure that these are a good all round clipper, especially at the price.
