Remington is a respected manufacturer of clippers and they have been producing top quality products for over 75 years. They strive to be at the cutting edge of technology and innovation and are quite successful at doing so. They produce a range of top quality clippers but they also make some cheaper, entry level models. 

​At around £19 they are not exactly cheap, cheap but they are still at the higher end of the entry level price. We find that they are average or slightly above average in everything. they get 3.9 in the ratings, they are a fairly good seller and they are neither cheap nor expensive for what you get.

This clipper is fairly cheap but is the quality you would expect from a name like Remington. Don't let the low to medium price put you off as its actually a really good starter clipper . For value for money, its very good as you get a full range of cuts and a complete starter kit.

As you know the blades on clippers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this clipper comes with Advanced Titanium coated self-sharpening blades infused with Chromium for sharpness. I would say that this is very good for their price level.

You should expect to get around 30 minutes from a full charge though they don't advertise the charge time so you would have to expect that its fairly long. Probably in excess of 16 hours though it can be used on the cord. Its worth mentioning that it charges while in the stand.

These clippers are a reasonably good seller in the corded trimmer market. The Combs let you cut lengths from 1mm to 20mm.

Only 1 in 10 didn't really like them and we found that these people found that the battery didn't last as long as they expected.

If we consider all the ratings and reviews, we have to think that this clipper is a reasonably good buy for the price. 3.9 of of 5 in the rating is pretty reasonable and we found that most people really liked it. .

If you are after a simple clipper kit that will do a good job for you then this one is a good bet. There is nothing outstanding about it though and this is reflected in the price.
