This unit also has the wider head and comes with a very handy facial epilator. It is a bit cheaper and a bit lower in the rankings as it doesn't come with as much in the kit.

Specifically it doesn't have the exfoliating brushes that the more expensive unit has. Though the addition of a separate facial epilator makes up for this well.

Buyers really liked this model and at £95 it is very reasonably priced for the great features that you get with it.

A close 3rd and very close in the customer rankings in the list is the Braun Silk 561. This unit gets 4.4 out of 5 in the ratings and comes in at around £78.

These unit is a great kit for those of you are new to epilating. It has everything you need in the kit and is very well priced. It doesn't have the 40% wider head but that's reflected in the price

At this price they are a great all round starter model and should be considered very seriously as a cheaper unit that will do everything you need.

This is another great unit from Braun. It still has the 40% wider head but again a few of the accessories have been cut back to get it to the £85 price point. It still gets 4.5 in the ratings so its a great model.

If you want the top quality model with all the add ons stripped out then this is the model for you. It has the same specs as the number one unit at a much cheaper price. You just don't get all the accessories.

In my opinion this is a great value unit for starting out, its top quality and will last for years

We are getting to mid range now as this epilator rates at 4.1 out of 5 in the reviews and sells at around £60. Half way down the list is maybe not so fair for this product as its great value at this price. 

This is a really extensive kit for £60. You get 7 attachments, its properly cordless and is a high quality build.

As kits go this is probably one of the best value ones we have reviewed. It has everything you need and at the price its good enough quality for years of use. Its very tempting to buy cheap kits that do everything but usually they are poor quailty

You are better spending a bit extra on a mid range unit like this and getting a proper quality kit than buying something cheap.

Another Philips unit is this top of the range 650 model. It gets a 3.7 out of 5 rating and is around £100 to buy.

This is actually a really good unit and has all the features you would expect like cordless, wet and dry use etc. It is also a fully comprehensive kit that will do every thing

Although this gets a lot of top ratings, the overall ratings are a bit below what they should be for a unit of this price. Some people loved them but there were quite a few who weren't overly impressed.

I think there are better models on the market for this price. Its very hard to go past Braun for the best epilators

This is a great, stand alone, specialist facial epilator. It gets a 3.9 out of 5 rating and is around £48 to buy.

I am not so sure you need a separate epilator like this for your face as most models do all areas and some actually come with a separate facial unit like this

That being said, its a really great product to use and if you just want to do facial hair then this might suit you perfectly. I guess if you aren't ready for all body then this might be ideal.

Last but not least comes this cheap, cheap, cheap Braun 3270 unit. It gets a 3.9 out of 5 rating and is an bargain £30 to buy.

This is actually not bad for the money but you have to manage your expectations here. If you are starting out at epilating then you might find this is a good starting point, just in case you don't get in to it

The problem is that if you really like epilating when you get it then straightaway you will want something better. I would recommend going for a mid range model
