Philips QT4090/32 Pro Trimmer with Vacuum UK Review
Philips make a wide range of clippers but its very rare that we get to review models at this high price. It will be very interesting to see how good they are and if they justify this high cost.
At around £199 they at the very top end of the market but they only get 3.9 out of 5 in the ratings. This actually isn't too bad a rating but you would expect a product for this price to be super duper but it seems that opinions are varied, though I guess you would expect a clipper with a built in vacuum is bound to be expensive.
The real question is if the vacuum is a great feature or just a gimmick and what do you get for £169

As you might expect this clipper is packed with loads of features and has everything you would expect for this price level of product. On its on it a great all round clipper, one of the best we have used as well as having the vacuum facility. The idea of collecting the stubble is certainly innovative and if it worked perfectly it would be a brilliant feature
As you know the blades on clippers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this clipper comes with self sharpening steel blades. Probably not what you would expect at this level but they are of a high quality steel.

What Buyers Say About the Philips Stubble Clippers
Well..... opinions on these clippers are really varied. It seems that the unit itself is excellent by any standard. People love them and by all accounts they are one of the best performing clippers we have reviewed. There just seems to be a difference of opinion in how good the vacuum is. The ratings really reflect the mixed opinions.
With over 4 out of 10 users rating this clipper 5 out of 5 and a further 29% rating them 4 out of 4, we know that 70% of buyers have rated these clippers extremely highly. We know the clipper are great, really great, so obviously the vacuum facility is not as good as the manufacturer likes to think.
What users actually say is that the vacuum works "quite well" or the vacuum is "not perfect". We don't get any people saying its rubbish so you should just expect it to work "OK"
Straightaway we found that over 7 out of 10 buyers rated this as well above average product.
If we consider all the ratings and reviews, we have to think that this clipper is something just ok for the price. 3.9 of of 5 in the rating is reasonable but not for something at £169 though we do think the lesser satisfaction levels are totally down to the vacuum not being perfect. The clippers themselves are fab.
