Philips Series 9000 Laser Guided Beard Trimmer Review
Philips is a very well known brand in the electronics market and they have been in business for many years. They make quality products and this Philips Series 9000 Laser Guided Beard Trimmer is a really good seller. It is the top of the Philips range, has a RRP of £100 and averages 4 out of 5 in the ratings.
It is worth saying that at the time of writing this article we were able to find this unit on offer in several different places on line for around £40, so its well worth shopping around.
This beard trimmer is a cordless model with powerful batteries which fully charge in one hour for 60 minutes of cordless trimming. It has all the features you would expect for a top of the range trimmer like this and we will explore those thoroughly later, but the big feature is the laser guiding system. The laser light guidance system that projects a thin beam of light for precise, symmetrical results every time
Philips Series 9000 BT9280 Beard Trimmer Features

- Cordless Model. 8 hour charge for 50 mins use

- Laser-guided trimmer for ultimate precision with confidence

This trimmer has a pretty good rating of 4 out of 5 so we know this its there or thereabouts. The build quality and features are superb so its hard to understand why it doesn't get a higher mark in the customer ratings. The laser feature sets it apart from other units so I would expect to see much higher ratings than this.
I have found the ratings are low for 2 main reasons. Firstly buyers expect something special from the laser but really its just a guide and is actually a bit of a gimmick, though it is quite handy. Secondly this is a very expensive unit if you pay full price. As we have found it for £40 in many places I think its a real bargain. There is also a newer model of the Philips Series 9000 so maybe this is why the price has been reduced
As you know the blades on trimmers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this Philips trimmer comes with self sharpening steel blades.

What Buyers Say About the Philips Laser Beard Trimmer
This is a good selling beard trimmer and it certainly is top of the range. Its just a simple trimmer with a laser gimmick but you will know that you have a well built trimmer in your hand. I really liked this clipper for style and in use
With around half of users rating this clipper 5 out of 5 and about three quarters giving it either 5 or 4 out of 5 in the ratings, we know this is not just a good value product but a good product in general. There are very few low ratings and I would say the mark it gets is too low, its a 4.5 out of 5 for me
Straightaway, you can easily see that around three quarters of actual buyers rated this as well above average product and we have to say that this a really super trimmer
If we consider all the ratings and reviews, we have to say that this is a great unit and its pretty easy to see how it got into our top 10 beard trimmer reviews. It might have got even higher up the list if the RRP wasn't so expensive
