Wahl 100 Series Mains Hair Clipper Set
Wahl  like to think of themselves as the brand of professionals but they do produce a low cost range as well as the more up market clippers. These 100 series mains clipper are one of the very cheapest that Wahl manufacture but they are one of the very best sellers in the full range.
 At around £13 or so and averaging 4.1 out of 5 in the ratings , these clippers are building up a reputation for being great value
This clipper is a corded model that is pitched as the basic entry level clipper kit. Unlike some other cheap clippers , this set will do a full haircut. Its not limited to just trims and tidy ups.
It also comes as a complete starter kit with 4 combs and an adjustable taper lever that will cut from 0.8mm up to 13mm. You will find the adjustable lever to be extremely handy.

This clipper is rated quite highly but is extremely cheap but don't be concerned by the price as this clipper will do the job well. It certainly outperforms its price point and gets great reviews from the majority of users.
As you know the blades on clippers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this clipper comes with precision ground, high carbon steel blades that should stay sharper for longer. Quite good for a clipper at this price.

A little bit about the Wahl brand
As i have already said, Leo Wahl was the first to invent an electromagnetic hair clipper in 1919 and so the Wahl company began. They were the first to invent many other things such as the vacuum clipper in 1965 and the cordless clipper in 1967.
Wahl products are now available in around 150 countries worldwide under the brands Wahl, Moser, Lister and more recently Groom Ease, with factories in USA, Germany, China and in England.
