Wahl is undoubtedly one of the leader manufacturers of clipper and although they like to market themselves as the brand of professionals, they do produce cheap, as well as expensive models. These 5537 clippers are one of their cheaper options and are the number one seller in the woman's clipper range as well as being popular with men.
At around £8 or so and getting around 4 out of 5 in the ratings its not hard to understand why they are so popular. You don't get much for this price normally but these clippers seem to be the exception to the rule.
This clipper is a really handy unit and is ideal for tidy ups and trims, you wont be doing haircuts with this one but they will do any quick jobs for you.
This clipper is extremely cheap but don't be put off as its a great product. For handiness and value for money, it ticks all the boxes and it comes with a convenient stand that holds all the accessories neatly together in the one place.
As you know the blades on clippers come in a variety of materials ranging from stainless steel right up to titanium and Japanese steel and this clipper comes with precision ground, high carbon steel blades that should stay sharper for longer. Quite good for a clipper at this £8.
As i have already said, Leo Wahl was the first to invent an electromagnetic hair clipper in 1919 and so the Wahl company began. They were the first to invent many other things such as the vacuum clipper in 1965 and the cordless clipper in 1967.
Wahl products are now available in around 150 countries worldwide under the brands Wahl, Moser, Lister and more recently Groom Ease, with factories in USA, Germany, China and in England.
Certainly the Wahl products are still the choice of the professionals so you can be sure of a quality product.
These clippers are a best seller in the women's trimmer market for Wahl though men are buying them too. They seem to be very popular for men with beards for trimming and styling as well as for women and most users are totally happy with them.
With over 5 out of 10 users rating this clipper 5 out of 5 and a further 20% rating them 4 out of 4, we know that 3 quarters of buyers have rated these clippers highly. You do, however have to remember that these are a cheap item that you can use for a quick tidy up, anything more than that and you would need to be looking for something a bit more expensive.
Straightaway we found that nearly 3 quarters of people rated this as well above average product. With only around 1 in 10 not liking them at all.
If we consider all the ratings and reviews, we know that this is a handy and useful product for the money and as long as you don't expect hairdresser standard quality you will be grand. Some of the comments we have viewed think that "no person should be without one" and we have found many reviews along the same lines.
